Track 11: Predicting with AI
Current models for business crisis or success prediction based on AI are mainly based on accounting, financial and market data. However, other important explanatory factors such as the level of sustainability, measured by ESG (Environmental, Social e Governance) rating, and the uprising role of social media can have an influence on business performance and can be used to rise up the prediction power of these models. Given the increasing attention on sustainable and social issues, this track aims to advance current research on the topic of digitalization in business by focusing on contributions that investigate how to predict business success or crisis through an extensive use of advanced Artificial Intelligence algorithms and Web 3.0 technologies, including, for the first time, ESG, news and social media variables. Very welcome are contributions capable from one side to highlight best practices, identifying - using Artificial Intelligence – those successful business strategies and, on the other side, to help decision makers to prevent corporate crisis and identify the areas on which it is important to intervene so as to improve corporate performance.
